ThreeRays attends IFIS2025

The 3rd International Food Ionizing Processing Symposium (IFIS2025) was successfully held in Chengdu, China from June 4 to 6, 2025. This symposium was organized by the China Isotope and Radiation Association(CIRA), hosted by IBA (Beijing) Particle Accelerator Technology Co., Ltd. and the Radiation Processing Committee of CIRA, and co-organized by multiple units including the Sichuan Institute of Atomic Energy. The symposium attracted more than 220 experts and representatives from industries, enterprises, government departments, and research institutions from 28 countries across five continents, including China, Austria, Belgium, France, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and South Africa. The attending experts engaged in in-depth exchanges on the development trends of international food irradiation processing through various forms such as thematic discussions, roundtable talks, case sharing, and technical visits, jointly outlining the future blueprint for the development of food irradiation technology. At the closing ceremony of the symposium, it was announced that the next IFIS will be held in Brazil in 2027.

The company's General Manager, Mr.Wei PENG, and Irradiation CTO, Mr. Duwen Zuo attended the conference throughout and engaged in various forms of communication with the participants, achieving a series of significant outcomes.

General Manager Wei PENG delivered an oral report on behalf of ThreeRays at the conference, introducing the company and proposing the development philosophy of "Make radiation benefit more people, Make irradiation much easier, Make rays more efficient," which attracted widespread attention. Mr.Wei PENG was also invited to host the thematic discussion session on "Retail Acceptance and fears of a Consumer Backlash".

ThreeRays will take this conference as an opportunity for development, further expand its business, and work together with domestic and international partners to actively promote the industrialization of food irradiation technology and enhance international exchanges and cooperation.
