Aerial and ThreeRays Jointly Visit Chinese Irradiation Enterprises to Promote High-Quality Development of the Irradiation Industry

From June 6 to 12, 2025, supported by the Business France in Shanghai, Aerial and ThreeRays jointly conducted in-depth visits to several Chinese enterprises related to irradiation. They also held technical exchanges on the use of irradiation dosimetry systems and irradiation dosimeters. The delegation was mainly composed of Dr. Alain Strasser, the General Manager of Aerial, Mr. Wei PENG, the General Manager of ThreeRays, and three other members. Ms. Lian Qu, the Commercial Officer of the Business France in Shanghai, participated in the relevant activities in Shanghai.
The delegation successively visited ten institutes and companies in Chengdu, Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi and Beijing. They visited irradiation facilities, accelerator production workshops, R&D laboratories, microbiological laboratories, and dose laboratories, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the current status and development of China's irradiation industry.
During the visit, Aerial introduced in detail its advanced technologies and products in the field of radiation dosimetry, including irradiation facilities for scientific research experiments, dose measurement systems, alanine dosimeters, dose simulation calculations, and training services. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on irradiation dose measurement technology and provided detailed answers to related questions. In addition, the delegation presented three types of dosimetry systems supplied by Aerial and conducted on-site tests and demonstrations of DosASAP/CTA dosimetry system at some facilities.
At the end of the trip, Aerial visited ThreeRays in Beijing for further exchanges. Both parties comprehensively summarized the visit to China and made in-depth plans for future cooperation. Through this exchange, both sides gained a more intuitive understanding of the current status and development of irradiation facilities, irradiation dosimeters, and dosimetry systems in China, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. In the future, both parties will take this visit as an opportunity, combine the actual situation of China and the Asia region, and provide more precise dosimetry systems, dosimeters and services to enhance the service capabilities as well as to promote the high-quality development of China's radiation processing industry.

Aerial is a French Technology Resources Center with nearly 40 years of experience in the field of radiation processing and dosimetry. It is a Collaborating Center of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the only high dose dosimetry reference laboratory in France.
